I became an occupational therapist because I believe people should not be limited due to a diagnosis or life event. My practice has incorporated my passions for wilderness adventure, creativity and movement and driven me to work internationally in Canada. I have been practicing for 14 years with a focus on holistic health and wellbeing.
Special interest areas: Women’s Health, Chronic Pain, Chronic Illness, Workplace Injury and Mental Health.
As a therapy assistant, I’m committed to empowering individuals to live life on their terms, no matter their challenges. With a background in special education (focusing on autism and trauma) and studies in Counselling and Psychotherapy, I take a creative, holistic approach to therapy. I have a special interest in emotional and sensory regulation, as well as somatics, and draw on techniques from counselling, education, and occupational therapy to meet each client’s unique needs. I’m passionate about collaborating with families to create meaningful change. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new recipes, outdoor adventures, and time with my dog.
